Yarrow should not be used during pregnancy due to its effects on the menstrual cycle.
Yarrow may cause an allergic reaction in individuals sensitive to the Asteraceae/Compositae family (i.e. ragweed, marigolds, daisies).
Internal use of large amounts of Yarrow may cause sedative and diuretic effects in some individuals.
Yarrow may enhance sedative effects of other herbs or drugs with sedative properties.

Pregnant women should avoid using Burdock due to its uterine stimulating properties.
It is possible that large amounts of Burdock could lower blood sugar, therefore it is recommended that diabetics use Burdock under a physician's supervision.

Oregon grape should not be used during pregnancy due to the potential uterine stimulant activity of berberine.
The berberine in Oregon Grape may cause or exacerbate kidney irritation.
High doses of berberine can act as a depressant on the cardiovascular and respiratory systems, and may also cause vomiting.

Yellow Dock’s ability to bind with metals may result in decreased nutrient absorption.
Overdoses of Yellow Dock root can cause nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.
