Stimulate liver function; the elimination of excess fluids and toxins while having an antiseptic effect upon the renal system. Prolonged consumption of Pipsissewa tea can help regulate kidney stones. Steep 1 tsp. in one cup of hot water for 10 minutes. Take up to 3 cups daily.

Pipsissewa contains strong diuretic properties and is useful in reducing occasional edema. Steep 1 Tbs. in one pint of water for 10 minutes. Take half in the morning and half in the evening.

A strong decoction of Pipsissewa leaves, fresh or dried, makes a good eyewash for pink eye.

A strong decoction of the leaves or fresh leaf poultice may be applied to blisters to speed healing.

Ingredients: Dried Pipsissewa leaf (Chimaphila umbellata) wild harvested in Idaho.
